CS Intellect and IGN FI Begin Implementation of LAOSTAT-II Data Integration Project

Vientiane, Lao PDR — CS Intellect (Lao) Co., Ltd., in partnership with IGN FI of France, has officially commenced implementation of the LAOSTAT-II Data Integration Project for the Lao Statistics Bureau (LSB).

The project aims to strengthen the digital infrastructure of Lao PDR’s national statistical system through the development and implementation of an integrated data platform. The solution will support more efficient integration, management, processing, and dissemination of statistical data across multiple sources.

Following the project kick-off and mobilization, the joint project team has started working closely with LSB and relevant stakeholders on the inception phase, requirements analysis, data assessment, system architecture, and planning for the integrated data platform.

The project will combine CS Intellect’s local expertise in software development, IT infrastructure, systems integration, and digital transformation with IGN FI’s international technical experience.

Throughout the implementation, the project will also focus on capacity building, knowledge transfer, training, testing, documentation, and long-term sustainability, helping ensure that LSB can effectively operate and manage the new platform.

The commencement of the project marks an important milestone in supporting the continued modernization and digital transformation of Lao PDR’s national statistical system.
